Did You know I Was at Yale?

Did you know I was at yale
    during my first NYC Sunday?

I was bringing the suitcase on the way
    my old and gray
    some day
    you bought at Yale
    all the same

    Taking a train, a cab
    all the way
    I was here
    today
    at your erstwhile place

    Life is dead
    love is awake

    Nobody was singing
    Only me was smiling

    Climbing all the way
    to the top of
    where you were
    staying
    the youthful and colorful days

I got my second Yale t-shirt
that reminded me of the tears on the first
    and the dramatically lovely girl

I almost saw your sadness at sino-China war
    while at SML
    The shining in your eyes
once grabbed me by the rear lake

    "Buddha said
how did not a droplet get dry?
Flow itself to the ocean right away"
    Those words were still somewhere
    I frequented always

    My camera died
    at your dept building gate
I missed the last possible your thing
    I could take
    I was gray

    I would like to stay
    for another day
    at HGS tower
    with the wind of change

    see rare book library again
    simply gorgeous again

and have another piece of pizza
    that was you recommended

Did you know I was at Yale
    New York, Chicago
    San Francisco bay
    and wherelse you have stayed?

    Life is like a necklace
    we have to say
    we started from the begining
    got done at the ending
    a decade
    no the other way

I am glad that you like it..

Thank u for the new version while a couple of are not exactly what I mean and what has happened.

    弯弯--

Thax..haha..I was looking for a way best for Yale narrative. I had no Chinese input in office and came up with some thougths and made it as flow as possible.. That is it.. But I looked back and realized that the English poem might be perfect for Yale's personality--fancy and looking good...

    提拉米苏sweety--

I feel more destiny than romantic...

    Buddha said:
    "A droplet would never dry,
    by joining the ocean"
    Those words are still something
    I frequent as always
But where was the ocean for us ?

    The battery died
    at your department building's gate
    I missed the last opportunity
    to record somewhere you stayed
    I was frustrated

    If I could pray
I wish to have one more day
    at HGS tower
    where wind of past
    sweeps by
with me watching from far way

Together we visited rare books library

Together we ordered lots of pizza

Love is like a pearl necklace
we started from the first bead
    finished at the last one
    a decade passed
    slowly all memory faded away

Although it's a little bit sad, I still like it. Especially with the rhythm of "San Francisco" background music you chose. I think you write this, right? Not to compliment, but I am truely amazed by the way you put things together in your blog. I am not one who is good at/love literature since I was a child but still deeply touched. Haven't gotten this kind of feeling for a long time while life in US is all about boring realities one needs to face.

In the end, your former blogs give people more feeling of relaxation. I prefer that kind of mood more.

Great to enjoy your "my space" while I cannot fall asleep but, at the same time, don't want to do anything serious. Finally feel tired. Good dream!
